The singer pulls away from the girl, while she asks her father for some explanations. The lawyer, unable to convince the singer about his innocence, sends the young couple to Germany to meet a woman who, after being tortured by the Nazis, actually betrayed the singer’s mother. After that, the couple can live happily ever after.
